Letter from the Crowley Clan Taoiseach

Hello from West Cork! I hope you are all keeping well. The Crowley Clan Council has met several times over the last months to discuss the Crowley Castle Project and the 2007 Crowley Clan Gathering. I can report that we are making progress.

Past Taoiseach, Charles P. Crowley is looking into the regulations for forming an organization to protect and secure the remains of our Crowley Castle in Ahakeera. The accounts for will have three signatures, our treasurer, Flor Crowley, our assistant treasurer, Ann Crowley, and myself. All of us have been involved with the Crowley Clan for many years and you can have 100% trust that all transactions will be handled properly.

The council also has set the date and venue for our gathering in 2007. It will be held in Clonakilty, West Cork on September 14th, 15th, & 16th at the Quality Hotel. I urge all of you to consider attending this gathering. If you think you might attend, please contact the Quality Hotel as soon as possible to reserve your room. The more people reserving by February 2006, the smaller the deposit the council must make to the hotel. Please see details on the gathering and the hotel elsewhere in this newsletter.

Finally, about ten Crowleys in Ireland have agreed to participate in the Crowley DNA project. I urge male Crowleys to consider participating.

God bless,

Liam Crowley,
An Taoiseach
