Crowley Clan News from Around the World

Sunny Crowley, Honolulu, Hawaii: (sunny@a-natural-choice.net)
I would sure love to see everyone again at the gathering in Clonakilty next year. Perhaps we could start some kind of a car pool notice board going so we don't all have to rent cars. (Anyone interested could contact Sunny at the above e-mail or contact the Crowley Clan Newsletter)

Pauline Crowley-Zieltjes, New Plymouth, NZ: (pcrowley@pei.ac.nz)
Had an empowering letter from Catherine Budd re our fathers DNA a 35/37 match so generating some excitement for us all. Very busy down under as we have 17 Teachers from Shanghai at our school for 5 weeks learning our English Language programme. Tony is off to Brisbane tomorrow to work for 10 days so a chance for me to catch up on Crowley Stuff. I am hoping to get my IT department to support me in setting up a NZ Crowley Clan Website which I hope to have a link established from the main one. Then we can have our news and history recorded for easy access. God Bless for now.

My summer has been busier than any I have ever experienced. I am energized and looking forward to representing the people of Flathead County on the Commission! The Crowleys are alive and well in Montana. (Editor’s note: Mark is running for County Commissioner in Flathead County, MT. Here is his website. Check it out to find out about this interesting young man. www.crowleyforcommissioner.com)

I am researching the families of Dennis Driscoll born 1805 in County Cork and Margaret Crowley born about 1815. They were married about 1836 and came to America about 1839-1840 where their oldest son John was born in New York. The family then moved to Louisiana and on to Dubuque County, Iowa. I have also found that Dennis had a brother Daniel who could have come with them to America. I found mention of him living with Daniel in a later Iowa census record. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that might have a connection to Dennis and Margaret. I would appreciate any contact.
