Hi Everyone,

It is autumn in South Carolina, the most beautiful time of the year. We celebrate our Thanksgiving Day in the USA at the end of November. And then the Christmas holidays are only a month away. It’s a good time to be remembering and honoring our Crowley ancestors who bravely survived the famine years and are the reason we are here today.

This issue of the Crowley Clan Newsletter is full of information about the Crowley Clan Gathering next September in Bantry. We hope that you are starting to make your plans to join us in County Cork. The weekend is sure to be inspiring, informative, and enjoyable.

Life isn’t perfect, and neither is this newsletter. I do make mistakes and typos. I always appreciate it when one of you points mistakes out to me so that I can correct them. Betty Halberg emailed me recently to point out that I had misspelled her name, and therefore, her email address in the last issue. Her last name is Halberg, not Halbert. And her correct email is halberg@olypen.com. If any of you spot other mistakes, please let me know. You are all my proofreaders!
